The 4th annual USA Swimming LGBTQIA+ breakfast sponsored by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Safe Sport proudly brings you Veronica Malone as she talks about Connecting Peter to Veronica, the journey to victory.

Peter Malone served as the head coach and general manager for the Kansas City Blazers Swim Team from 1975 to 2010. Some of Coach Malone’s most notable accomplishments was being recognized as USA Swimming’s Top 25 Most Influential People in the History of Swimming and being the recipient of the 2001 USA Swimming Award for outstanding contribution to the United States and to the Sport of Swimming. Coach Malone was inducted into ASCA’s Hall of Fame in 2009. The KC Blazers, under his direction, have placed an athlete on the Olympic Team from 1984 to 2012.

Please pre-register for the breakfast at the USAS desk for $15 per person as space is limited and has always reached capacity! You are also welcome to attend without partaking in breakfast via standing room only at no cost.
